Batiste dry shampoo stands out amongst the hundreds of other hair products fighting for your attention in Boots and Superdrug. The styling of the packaging is retro, all block colours and very simple, it looks like it hasn't been altered since it was first made. This must have been a conscious decision from the company, maybe to give the impression that this product has been around for a long time and is so good it does not need shiny redesigned packaging and advertising.

I agree with the comments about the original packaging but I was just wondering if you have seen the packaging for the new version, Blush. They are completely different with Blush including a flower design and different type. Personally i think they look completely out of sync if placed next to each other, but as its such a good product I think id still purchase it no matter what the packaging. I agree though how the retro designs do suggest how no improvements need to be made because it is good enough already.
Ahh there is a new version? No i haven't seen it, will investigate, cheers!
Maybe it's the whole dry shampoo that makes the packaging retro, cause I've seen loads of dry shampoos in Finland and they all look kinda retro to me!
